Oat-Cereal
Oat is one of the healthy food-based trades of Simex Australia. As a healthy food, Oats provide a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fibre, and antioxidants. Weight loss, lower blood sugar levels, and a reduced risk of heart disease are the key benefits offered in Oats and products from this Oat grain. Although Oat is one of the main foods in Australia, people in Asian countries have been increasingly replacing their food traditions with this food menu. Traditional rolled, Quick cooking, Instant, Steel Cut Oats, and Oat Bran are the categories we have been exporting. Simex Australia has added Baby/Toddler Oats to its list of Oats in export.
Traditional Rolled Oats:
Traditional rolled Oats are different from both quick-cooking and instant Oats, depending on varied cooking times. The standard size of traditional rolled Oats is 0.80mm. It becomes thicker and gravy after being cooked. Rolled Oats have a milder flavor and softer texture. Rolled Oat is the main ingredient of manufacturing Muesli. Many bakers use this Oats type to make cakes, cookies, muffins, and breads.
Quick Cooking Rolled Oats:
Quick-cooking oats are manufactured from whole-grain oats with extra pressure. The standard size of quick-cooking Oats is 0.55mm. A few minutes are taken to cook. Mild flavor, softness, and mushy texture are the key characteristics of this type of oats when cooked. Although the micro-woven can be advantageous to cook, the traditional cooking system makes it more gravy.
Instant Oats:
Instant Oat is thinner than the other two types of Oats. Its standard size is 0.45mm. Cooking this type of Oats is much faster and a time saver. It becomes creamier when it is cooked. Since it can be prepared to eat anywhere and anytime using hot water and/or milk, no extra preparation is required to cook. Packing in sachets of instant Oats provides flexibility in having food at work every day.
Oat Bran:
Oat bran is the outer part of an Oat grain. The bran is naturally contained in both Oats and steel-cut Oats. However, the bran is removed when Oatmeal is further processed, which helps the Oatmeal cook faster. As a result, many fine food retailers and whole-grain manufacturers sell Oat bran separately as its own product.
Oat bran is slightly more nutritious than Oatmeal because it is higher in protein content, soluble fiber, and sugar. Furthermore, there is an increased availability of potassium. Oat bran is like a super-boosted Oatmeal on steroids. It is jam-packed with dietary fiber that naturally absorbs water, which makes you feel full for a much longer period of time. Oat bran is high in fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. In addition, it may aid heart health, help control blood sugar levels, improve digestion, and increase weight loss.

Snacks
Muesli
Muesli is a cereal made from a mixture of grains. Fruit, seeds, and dairy as the common ingredients are added. Muesli is good for you because it typically contains “whole food” ingredients, such as whole grains and fruit. These foods boost your fibre intake and provide valuable nutrients. Plus, when you serve muesli with milk or yogurt, you get an additional boost of protein. For example, one serving of AUSIMEX Muesli contains 16% of your daily fibre and 4 grams of protein. There are approximately 120 to 140 calories in 1/4 cup of muesli.
AUSIMEX Muesli is toasted, indicating cooked. Thus, it doesn’t need further cooking. It can be simply soaked in a liquid such as hot sweetened water, milk, or fruit juice for a few minutes—or even overnight. AUSIMEX Muesli can also be soaked in yogurt or a mixture of yogurt and fruit. Once it is prepared, enjoy your AUSIMEX Muesli in your daily routine.
